The fundamental principle of wabi sabi interior design is connection to earth and natural materials, but with an accent to authenticity.

Surrounded by lush greenery on the terrace of ANDON LAPA HOTEL, this pool is designed to offer a calming atmosphere and bring everyone back to nature!

The use of warm elements like wood, paper, textiles and clay, in balanced combination with cold elements like stone, metal and live plants creates harmony and simplicity.
It’s focused on warmth and comfort.
Design is focused on comfort and creating an inviting atmosphere that doesn’t necessarily match but have a nice harmony through natural elements and colors.
The more imperfections and rougher the construction the better.
We decided to adopt a lighter aesthetic for this space, with pale tones, natural materials and lots of plants.
The entire goal of wabi-sabi interior styles is to be as natural as possible.
A natural, simple atmosphere suffuses the overall space.
Through various forms, the design realizes the symbiosis of natural elements and architectural space.
The architecture and plants are reflected on the water surface, which expands the space atmospherically and provides a natural, cozy and refreshing experience.
The space is highlighted by a long swimming pool, which is tranquil yet intriguing.
The cement-finished backdrop wall, round columns, decorative wood panel, plants, ceramic floor tile show sculpture-like powerful, three-dimensional, and steady features.
Those elements are independent and also complement each other.
