Pool & Lounge Bar

About the project

The semicircular swimming pool that is part of a luonge bar, is located in Ksamil, Sarande.

This pool is projected as an infinity pool that has the wall that exactly match its water level. Thus, the pool is always overflowing and the water falls into a reservoir, which lies just below the trailing edge, and is pumped back into the pool. This lower plane is not visible, and create the sensation of the water flowing naturally to the horizon. The slight bevel at the edge, amplifies the visual effect, making the pool edge become a subtle line, dematerializing the landscape.

The outdoor area of the lounge-bar is decorated with oversized plam trees and wooden chaise lounges overlooking the swimming pool and the sea.
